Johnny Cawthon

Born
in the state of Louisiana, USA, Johnny attended The University of Louisiana
at Monroe where he received a BA. From there, he moved to Anderson,
Indiana where he attended Anderson School of Theology and received a M. Min
and M. Div degree. Johnny was the founding director of East Central
Indiana Youth For Christ where he served from 1970-1976. Since 1977, he has served as Pastor of New Life Christian Church. New
Life is a member of ReNET, an apostolic regional network of churches, where
Johnny is one of the Directors. He oversees ReNET's mission outreaches
in the Samara, Russia region. He serves as a member of the CURE
leadership team (Clergy United for Renewal, Reconciliation and Evangelism)
giving leadership to the City-Wide Pastor's Prayer Meetings. Sharon is Johnny's wife of 34 years. He has two
daughters, Julie Dale and Cari Loveland, now married to Rick Dale and
Jeremiah Loveland.

Johnny's passion is to see the Kingdom reign of Jesus established in his
city, region, and nation and to the ends of the earth. He loves to
encourage unity among pastors and leaders, pointing them to intimacy with
Jesus and to see churches strengthened and planted at home and abroad.
He is strongly committed to helping each person find a relationship with
Jesus where they learn to hear His voice and be led by the Holy Spirit into
their destiny.
